so i was walking with my brother down the street to camp this morning, when all of a sudden i feel my hair! before we left i made sure to straighten my hair EXTRA staright so that it wouldn't curl. so i drop him off in his classroom then head to the bathroom to see my hair..
i looked into the mirror and OH MY GOD! i looked like i had just woken up! it didn't even look like i straightened it at all! like no joke!
anywho...
im going to a birthday party this weekend which im totally syked for!!!we're going to go on a huge tarp then putting soap and water on it which makes you go super fast. it's like a slip n' slide soo yeahh..im excited!!WOOH!
thanks to connie, i am now inspired to use COLOR!my mom said i seemed to be afraid of it but i think i've broken through my shell and am starting to get used to it.
on a further note, i started a piece earlier this week. it is supposed to be for my sister but i dont thinik she really comprehends the whole "art" idea. so now it is just mackenzie and her sister.
if not all of you know, mackenzie is the name of the girl i draw. she has many different looks to her, (as you could tell by my posted drawings). the whole name "mackenzie" is my favorite "girl name." ever since i met this girl named mackenzie, i've always been inspired to use that name. i just LOVE it!
well, i hope to post some new pictures up next week. so keep an eye out for that.

I love that you call your girl in the drawing Mackenzie. When I was going to art school I used to draw an abstract kind of girl that I had a name for too---her name was Lucia. She could fly and she lived with the stars. Huh, you've inspire me to bring back Lucia!!
