i actually finished something i started! I used acrylics, different papers, stencil, watercolors, and gel pens. The colors look better in person. I will try to take pictures outside tomorrow( weather permitting) and switch them with these.

Is this the painting that frustrated you?? If so, I can't tell...it looks great! I love that the girl--is it Mackenzie--is hugging the tree!!! Love it! Nice work for your firt finished piece!! You should be mucho proud! Also...I dig that you used all kind of mixed media!

Oh Carly! I'm sorry...I looked again and the girl is not hugging the tree. OOps. I feel kind of stupid now...but I still love it! I like how her scarve is hugging the tree! Yeah---I know something is giving love to the tree!!!

Hi Carly...Konnichiwa! I'm writing from Japan. Good job! I hv had headaches with acrylic too so don't get disheartened. I visted yr mom's blog as well. Coincidentally, my daughter, Annika & I draw/paints too! I look forward to seeing this piece, in natural lighting. If you have a scanner, you can also just scan in yr work directly. That's what I did with the drawings that you can see in my blog.
